Vernissage Moments / Rencontres / Quai de la Photo

My favourite moments from my opening last Friday at Quai de la Photo. It was a great evening. Thank you, everyone, for coming, to all the old friends and the new faces. I was amazed by how many of you were there.

I am incredibly grateful to Marion Briffod for believing in me and my work, to Quai de la Photo for giving me this opportunity, and to everyone who helped in the process of bringing this exhibition to life over the last weeks and months.

Above all, I want to thank all the women who became part of this series and allowed me into their lives with my cameras. Without you, this project could never have come to life I am so happy that some of you could celebrate with us.

I feel that having my work exhibited in such an honourable place as Quai de la Photo ties the knot between me and Paris even stronger, framing the theme of my work beautifully.

The fact that my first big solo show in the city is on a boat - as a sailor’s daughter - is such an amazing bonus, something I could not have wished for.
